PAT McGRATH DODGE COUNTRY Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Brost Architects and Planners has provided the McGrath family of dealerships with Architectural services for over 20 years.

The Pontiac dealership and brand, started locally in 1957 by H.B. McGrath, was phased out by General Motors. The renovated facility was redone in a style based on Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge’s corporate standard, which includes a large glass arched window entry surrounded by metal panels. In addition to the entry element, the remaining street facing façade was refinished with a new EIFS pattern.

The showroom floor was stripped to the bare concrete, providing a durable polished concrete floor system. The customer lounge, cashier area, and the service manager’s office were also renovated.
